- Today we're shining the Spotlight on Scott Secord of Fairfield, California, USA. Scott was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio where his parents still reside. He has twin 21 year old sons that are both DHSC VIPs. Scott has always had entrepreneur ship ideas and ambitions.

Scott said, "Financial independence has always been important to me. As a young boy, I needed to feel that I was always doing my share of the work. In high school I had my own newspaper route right up until the time I graduated. I joined the Air Force in 1976 and traveled the world. I retired from the Air Force in 1994 and settled in California. I had to look for another job to supplement my pension because the cost of living was so high in California."

Scott shared that he has been involved with a lot of other opportunities without success. Then one day he received that now familiar email, "Try It Before You Buy It", from his DHSC sponsor. Scott said, "It was free so why not? I recognized the value in the business opportunity and upgraded without hesitation. Within my first three months I had my monthly membership dues paid for and one month later I made Team Captain.

I have VIPs all over the world and I think DHSC is the finest opportunity available today. It is both available and reachable to anyone, anywhere, regardless of their current income. To succeed, all you need is to have the desire and determination to take action and the ability to stick to it. As of today I have personally sponsored 11 Club Bucks Merchants and have 13 total in my network. Success is realized when you love what you are doing."

Scott said he got off to a excellent start in DHSC right from the beginning. He was now working with the right kind of people. Scott is a humble man and he enjoys sharing credit where it is due. He said, "I must give credit to the late Felix Adam. God rest his soul. He was a great trainer and communicator. He was consistent and persistent in his communications and always found answers to all of the questions that I had." (Felix was a teacher in Venezuela and left behind a DHSC Executive Director residual income for his wife, Pilar, and their children).

Scott also gives credit to his VIP team, with whom he works closely in masterminding many projects and accomplishing goals together. Scott shared, "With DHSC, teamwork is the key to success. Cooperate with your upline Team Coaches and work together with them to accomplish your goals. Get in the back pocket of your upline leaders and keep asking them your questions. They have experienced many things and have many great ideas that can help your DHSC Business grow.

Scott also believes that working to find new marketing and prospecting methods is important to keep your business growing and healthy. He believes that he has tried just about every different advertising method to get new members, including e-mail marketing for both members and merchants, working off-line with ClubBucks at Street Fairs and working through his local Chamber of Commerce.

When asked about his goals, Scott replied, "I hope to someday be a member of the Ambassadors Club with 500 personally sponsored and 2500 total downline Club Bucks Merchant Affiliates. I would like to see the Club Bucks logo on storefronts throughout the world just like the Visa and Mastercard logos are displayed today. We have the best company. We have the best working members. We have it all!".
